HON CHONG PROMONTORY - Husband Mount - is located in a small crescent-shaped bay. It is a marble peninsula with massive rocks lying on top of one another.
OCEANOGRAPHIC INSTITUTE - The Institute of Oceanography/ established in 1923/ was one of the first centers of scientific research in Vietnam. It stands on a high elevation/ next to Cau Da Wharf/ about 6 km from the center of Nha Trang. Visitors will see the Marine Animal Museum with more than 8000 preserved sea and fresh-water specimens/ plus living sea creatures in glass tanks.
HON MUN MARINE PARK - A superb diving area.
PASTEUR INSTITUTE AND YERSIN MUSEUM - Here you will learn more about the life of a remarkable French born explorer and adventurer who came to Vietnam in 1889 after working under Louis Pasteur in Paris. The Institute coordinates vaccination and hygiene programs for the country southern coastal region and carries out research.
