Location. The Avalon Hotel and Spa, the first luxury boutique property located in Portland, Ore., incorporates the amenities of a destination spa and resort into its original design. The handsome seven-story red brick property houses a two-story lobby and guest reception area. The lobby features commissioned works of art by local Pacific Northwest artists, presented alongside vintage velvet sofas in a fireside setting. Dedicated to pampering their guests, the hotel is home to the Avalon Spa, which offers a steam room, sauna, spa tub, along with full-body treatments including thermal mineral baths and Moor mud wraps.
