Location. Located on the far south end of The Strip in Las Vegas, NV, Luxor Hotel and Casino is connected to Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino and and stands adjacent to Excalibur Hotel Casino.
Hotel Features. Included in the Luxor Hotel and Casino is a 30-story pyramid, two 22-story towers cloaked in bronze glass and a 10-story sphinx. The world's most powerful light beam, with 42.3 billion candlepower, shines from atop the pyramid. This light is visible at flight level 250 miles away and from outer space. Dining venues include TENDER steak & seafood, CatHouse, Company American Bistro, T&T (Tacos & Tequila) and specialty coffees at three Starbucks locations. Recreation includes gaming action at the 120,000-square-foot casino. Four outdoor pools are surrounded by canopied beds and poolside cabanas. Pampering treatments are available at Nurture, the Spa at Luxor, which serves complimentary fruit, juice and water, and offers ginger-scented showers and spa tubs. Teeth whitening, Warm Buttered Stone Massage and Citrus Marine Detox are popular treatments. The limited-hour fitness room features cardiovascular and weight-training equipment, yoga balls and free weights. The hotel's entertainment venues feature the newest Cirque du Soleil show, CRISS ANGEL Believe, comedian Carrot Top and the adult revue, Fantasy.
