The French Garden was completely remodeled in 2004, and expects to have a brand new pool, hot tub, and workout room in the early summer of 2005. There is coin laundry throughout the complex for guests' convenience. For kids there are large open areas for playing. The French Garden offers the best in security, as the entire property is gated. The French Garden is situated in the city of Gulfport on the coast of the Mississippi Sound. Nearby are twenty-six miles of easily accessible white sandy beaches. Watersports such as jetskiing, swimming, sailing, Aqua- Cycling, and parasailing are common, and scuba-diving is possible past the Ship and Cat Islands in the Gulf of Mexico. The nearby Longleaf Trace is a popular destination for bikers, and the DeSoto National Forest is great for hiking. There are twenty-seven golf courses in the immediate area, making it the perfect destination for a business or leisure golfing excursion. There is a casino seven minutes from the property, and opportunities for deep-sea and fresh-water fishing. Convenience stores, a beauty salon, and restaurants are all located within one block of the French Garden.
