Expert Tip. The Ilikai Hotel & Suites is one of only two hotels that has access to the Duke Kahanamoku Lagoon. Previously an area of stagnant water, the adjacent Hilton Hawaiian Village hotel transformed it into a beautiful lagoon that benefits from recycled ocean water five times hourly. Not only is the lagoon an enhancement to both hotels' landscapes, it also serves as a wading pond.
