Location.Hodnett Cooper's Beach Club is a gated oceanfront community on St. Simons Island, Ga. The St. Simon's Lighthouse, which still guides ships into the harbor while standing guard over the village, is a one-mile walk from the property. The shopping district of St. Simons, featuring unique shops, boutiques and eateries is two miles from the resort. Plenty of opportunities exist on St. Simons for golfing, fishing, biking, sailing, and even crabbing.
Hotel Features. Stately oak trees and tropical foliage provide a dramatic entry into the four-story oceanfront condominium complex, which boasts direct beach access. The extensive amenities include an oceanside pool with a separate wading pool for children and two jetted tubs situated in a lush courtyard. Community barbecue grills, a fitness center, a tennis court and bicycle rentals are also available on site. Other features include a game room and a business center with high-speed Internet access.
Guestrooms. Each two-bedroom condominium features a partial view of the ocean and/or a view of the property's courtyard. All of the residences have a unique design, with quality furnishings, designer appointments, fully equipped kitchens, separate living and dining areas and private balconies. Laundry machines offer convenience and cable television, VCRs and/or DVD players provide entertainment.
Expert Tip. The Coastal Georgia Historical Society and Museum of Coastal History is located in a restored lighthouse-keeper's house next to St. Simons Light. The gallery on the ground floor features displays, but the main draw is the panoramic view from the top of the 129-stair lighthouse.

Turn slight right toward arriving flights/departing flights.
Turn slight left onto Dixie Clipper Drive.
Dixie Clipper Drive becomes FL-102 East.
Turn left onto ramp.
Merge onto Interstate 95 North.
Merge onto US-17 N/GA-25 N via exit 29 toward Jekyll Island/Saint Simons Island/Brunswick.
Turn slightly right onto FJ Torras Causeway (portions toll).
Enter next roundabout and take first exit onto Kings Way.
Kings Way becomes Ocean Boulevard.
