Hotel Features. The Don CeSar Beach Resort, listed on the National Register of Historic Places, retains its original 1920s Jazz Age style. Crystal chandeliers and a spiral staircase lend grandeur to the expansive reception area. A fine-dining venue, the nautically themed Maritana Grille, specializes in Florida-Caribbean cuisine and houses saltwater aquariums stocked with indigenous fish. Walls of windows open onto the surrounding beach at the Sea Porch Café where light Caribbean- and Mediterranean-influenced dishes are prepared. The Beachcomber Bar and Grill serves poolside drinks and appetizers. The resort's lobby bar hosts live piano entertainment five days a week. A 24-hour fitness room contains cardiovascular and weight-training equipment, and free weights. One of the resort's two outdoor pools features an underwater sound system. Outfitters adjacent to the resort rent water-sport equipment. Spa Oceana houses a hair and beauty salon, steam and sauna rooms, 16 massage-treatment rooms and Vichy showers.
