The room I got was nice and clean. It really did have a view of the Capital Skyline! The bad things that I read previously about this hotel didn't really apply to my stay. I guess I just got lucky. Anyway, the only down shot to it is that the nearest metro is a few blocks away. (For those of you traveling Metro it's the Navy Yard Metro Station.) There's a bit of road construction going on here, but that has nothing to do with the hotel, just the ability to get to it is a little hindered. Otherwise, I like this hotel. Room Great but Hotel not for Children on weekends The room was great for the price. The only thing I didn't like was they host pool parties every weekend for outside guests and have a D.J. This would have been great if it was all teens and young adults you have with you, but I would not recommend it for children. The songs the D.J. were singing had alot of cuss words in them. For example: F--- the rich man. |

You can tell that this hotel is really trying to be good. Their beds are very comfortable and the whole place is very posh. Problem is obviously the people who stay there and the neighborhood they're in. If you want something to eat, expect to drive for 10+ minutes unless you want McDonalds. Our non-smoking room rreeked of cigarettes and the windows don't open so we couldn't air it out. We were also next to a maintenance room so around 1am and 6am we had someone banging around in there doing god knows what. For the price, it's a place to stay and it's good enough, but next time I'd stay closer to the city. Great value, but dont expect to get work done |

Outstanding hotel This hotel was great. Close to stadium and the Capitol. Professional, courteous staff. Rooms were clean and very comfortable. All new or well maintained furniture. Parking was also cheaper than anywhere else I checked. Went with wife and kids, and I will definitely recommend.Nice pool.
