Location. The Northwoods Resort, located across the street from Big Bear Village, Calif., is within a three-mile radius of alpine thrills at Snow Summit and Bear Mountain recreational areas. Big Bear Performing Arts Center and Moonridge Animal Park and Zoo are also three miles away. The Bear Mountain Golf Course lies four miles from the resort.
Hotel Features. This rustic property draws the great outdoors inside with hunting-lodge décor, wildlife-themed furniture pieces and a rugged stone fireplace. A small outdoor splash pool and an expansive spa tub are available for use throughout the year. An indoor sauna is also on site.
