Location.  The Hotel Antea is located in Istanbul, Turkey, in the historic centre of Sultanahmet, within 100 metres of the Grand Bazaar, 200 metres of the Blue Mosque, and 300 metres of the Hagia Sofia. The nearest tram station is 20 metres from the hotel.
Hotel Features.Located in the oldest and most colourful quarter of Istanbul, the Hotel Antea is a great base from which to explore the town. The multilingual staff at the 24-hour front desk offer tour assistance and currency exchange. Complimentary newspapers and wireless Internet access are available in the lobby.

At the Antea Hotel, traditional Turkish hospitality and dishes can be sampled either in the bright contemporary restaurant or on the roof terrace overlooking Istanbul and the sea. The bar is open for drinks in the evening. A complimentary breakfast is served in the breakfast room.

Driving Directions - Antea Hotel

From Istanbul Ataturk Airport (IST):
Distance to Hotel Antea is 17 kilometres, approximately 30 minutes' drive.

Getting there. Both airport terminals are connected to the metro system, which runs to the city centre. Single tickets cost about 1 TRY. The Havas Airport bus departs every 30 minutes for the main bus terminal and Taksim Square, in central Istanbul. Journey time is about 30 minutes. Bus number 96 runs between the airport and the city centre, and a shuttle bus runs to the port. Taxis wait outside Arrivals; fixed prices are in place and the fare to the city centre should be about 20 TRY-30 TRY. At night, there is a 50 percent surcharge. The hotel offers airport transfer at a surcharge. Prices are all subject to change.

Getting around. Istanbul's extensive public transport system includes buses, metros (underground trains), trains, trams, sea buses, and ferries. Tickets can be purchased from main stops, stations, or kiosks prior to boarding. Istanbul's yellow taxis are reasonably priced, but travellers should ensure the meter is used. A cheaper alternative is to use a 'dolmus' (minibus or shared taxi). Driving is not advised for visitors.
