Location. Malisa Villa Suites overlooks Kata Beach on the island of Phuket, Thailand. The resort is four kilometers from Karon Beach, five kilometers from the Big Buddha and seven kilometers from Chalong Temple.
Hotel Features. Malisa Villa Suites incorporates traditional Thai and contemporary décor and style. Arriving guests are offered a welcome garland, a refreshing drink and a chilled towel. Expert Tip. Nearby Chalong Temple is the largest of Phuket's 29 Buddhist temples and includes several buildings, in addition to gardens, pools and gold-leaf statuary. Painted walls depict scenes from the life of the Buddha. The temple is a particularly spectacular sight at night when many of the buildings are illuminated. Small donations of THB10 (US$.30) are recommended, but not required.
