Location. With sweeping views over Surin Beach and the Andaman Sea, Ayara Hilltops Suite Resort Spa is located on the north-western coast of Phuket Island in the south of Thailand. Surin Beach is relatively undeveloped and peaceful, and offers a number of popular cozy seafood eateries.
Resort Features. Ayara Hilltops offers babysitting, a business center, restaurant, poolside café and bar. On site are also several function areas for cocktails and banquets of up to 100 guests. Recreational facilities include the SPA Sereniti full service health spa, an outdoor freshwater pool, and health club with steam room, sauna and spa tub.
Suites. Suites are generously proportioned at approximately 115 square meters (1238 square feet) with separate living and king-bed (or twin-bed) sleeping quarters, hardwood floors and large private terraces with spa tubs. Features include climate control, work desks and lamps, three direct-dial phones, cable televisions, DVD players, electronic safes, coffee/tea makers, minibars, bathrobes, hair dryers and Ayara Hilltops signature oversize bathrooms in polished stone.
Expert Tip. Surin offers some good snorkeling at both ends of the beach (outside of the rainy season when visibility decreases) but visitors are warned to take care as the steep drop from the shore to the water line can create strong undertow conditions. The large swells at high tide attract surfers (swimmers should take extra care).
