The Hotel Astoria is housed in a purpose-built glass and concrete building dating from 1957, and situated 500 metres from the Picasso Museum in the centre of the historic city of Lucerne. The 160 guestrooms are spread over six floors and have light modern decor in neutral colours with light wood furnishings. Lucerne railway station is 600 metres from the hotel and Zurich Airport is 70 kilometres away, with an approximate driving time of 90 minutes.
