Hotel Driving Directions
A shuttle bus to Lugano leaves from outside the airport terminal, in accordance with arrivals and departures, between 0800 and 2000. The nearest railway station is at Agno, a 15 minute walk from the terminal. Trains run into Lugano 2 or 3 times an hour. From Lugano, catch a train to Bellinzona, then a local train to Locarno on Lake Maggiore. Ascona is two kilometres from Locarno, and can be easily reached by taxi. The immediate hotel vicinity of Ascona and Lake Maggiore is best explored by foot.
