Location. The modern Elite Palace Hotel occupies eight levels of an 11-storey 1950s building, and is situated in a residential area, within a kilometre of the green expanse of Hagaparken. Stockholm Arlanda Airport is 35 kilometres from the hotel.
Hotel Features. The marble-floored lobby features impressionistic art prints, chandeliers, leather sofas, and fresh flowers, and a Japanese-style screen door leading to the restaurant. Guests can host informal wine-tasting sessions in the lobby, which features an innovative self- service machine complete with 12 different bottles and informative tasting notes. Younger guests will be kept busy with toys and games at the ninth-floor kids' corner.
The contemporary Taabla restaurant is characterised by marble floors and a cushioned red central pillar, and serves international fare for lunch and dinner. Driving Directions - Elite Palace Hotel
The Arlanda Express train service operates every 20 minutes between the airport and Stockholm's Central Station; journey time is 20 minutes and a return fare is 380 SEK. The Flyggbussarna bus service also runs to and from Arlanda and Central Station every ten minutes, and stops outside the hotel; a return fare is 175 SEK. A taxi direct from the hotel will cost approximately 495 SEK. A taxi from Central Station will cost around 150 SEK. All prices are subject to change.
Driving directions: From the airport, head for signs for the E4/E18, heading towards to Norrtull. Stay in the right lane after passing the Karolinska Hospital. Upon reaching Norrtull, follow the white signs to St Eriksplan. Turn into St Eriksgatan, and the hotel is situated approximately 100 metres away on the right.
