Expert Tip. Built in the 11th century for Zaragoza's Moorish rulers, Aljaferia Palace is the only surviving example of Islamic architecture in the city. On the ground floor, there is a beautiful little mosque, and tucked away within the castle walls is a peaceful internal courtyard. A gothic staircase leads to ornate rooms, added by the Catholic monarchs of Aragon.

Distance to The Sabinas Apartments is 10 kilometres, approximately 30 minutes' drive.
Getting there. Buses leave for the city centre from just outside the terminal building. Fares cost 1.80 EUR. Taxis can be found by the doors in the arrivals hall. Fares to the city centre cost around 25 EUR. A transfer service can be arranged in advance with the hotel. Prices are all subject to change.
Getting around. The centre of Zaragoza is easily explored on foot or by bicycle. Buses run throughout the city.
