Getting there. A taxi journey from the airport to central Biarritz takes approximately five minutes and costs around 9 EUR. There is a higher fee at night. Buses run from the airport to the town every 40 minutes, and cost 1.20 EUR for a single journey. Trains run from Biarritz to Hendaye, and from Hendaye to San Sebastian. Journey time is approximately 1 hour. Buses also run from Biarritz to San Sebastian and take 1 hour and 45 minutes. Prices are all subject to change.
Getting around. San Sebastian can be explored by foot quite easily. A car is recommended for exploring the Basque country and the surrounding areas.
