Location. Housed in a 17th-century mansion, the Room Mate Migueletes is a renovated, traditional Andalusian property located in the Albayzin area, declared a heritage site by UNESCO. The Alhambra and Granada's cathedral are both within 500 metres of the hotel, and Granada Airport is situated 14 kilometres away, approximately half an hour by car.

PARKING:
As the hotel is located in the old part of Granada, private traffic is not allowed. Cars should be parked and guests can arrive to the hotel by taxi.
When entering the ring road that sourrounds Granada, take exit 131 "Granada, Parque de las Ciencias, Palacio de Congresos, Armilla" and follow signs to "Centro-Parque de las Ciencias".
You will pass a round-a-bout where there is a lamp shop called Hiperluz, and another where the Parque de las Ciencias is. Keep going toward "Sierra Nevada-Centro", going through a tunnel.
You will pass the Palacio de Congresos, which is a green marble building on your right hand side, and follow signs to "Centro-Alhambra".
Go straight, cross the river over the bridge and keep following signs to "Centro".
You will then pass a big commercial center on your right (El Corte Inglés) and just after it, at the traffic lights, a bit on your right, there is a square and underneath, there is a parking which is called Parking Plaza Puerta Real, where the hotel has a special rate for guests.
The lift that takes you up to the square is indicated with the handicapped sign. Take a taxi to the hotel (tell the driver that the hotel is at the end of Plaza Nueva square) Pay him, ask for a receipt and the hotel will deduct it from your hotel invoice. The hotel will only pay for the taxi if you are arriving to Granada by car, not by train, bus or plane.
