Location. The Grand Union Hotel Business occupies a modern, eight-storey brick-built property and is situated in the centre of the lively Slovenian capital of Ljubljana. The Old Town, National Opera and Ballet Theatre are all 500 metres from the hotel. Ljubljana Brnik Airport is 25 kilometres from the hotel, with an approximate driving time of 30 minutes.

Renovations at the Grand Hotel Union will take place in two parts from 10 July 2009 - 15 October 2009 and from 1 December 2009 - 1 February 2010. During the time of renovations, the half of the Grand Hotel Union Business will be hermetically closed; the other half of the hotel will be opened for normal business; and there will be no disturbances for guests.
The first half of the renovated hotel will be open to guests on 15 October 2009.
