The Hotel Quinta da Marinha Resort is a modern hotel surrounded by pine trees and situated five kilometres from Cascais centre. The Golf Club offers golf lessons and clinics throughout the year conducted by golf professionals who offer one off lessons or weekly programmes. Guests can enjoy tennis courts, squash and paddle, 5 minutes walking distance from the hotel. There are plenty of places to go jogging, bicycles can be hired to take a special route along the coastline and horse riding is possible within one kilometre. The hotel provides a scheduled shuttle service to the famous Guincho beach, three kilometres away, and to the city centre five kilometres from the resort. The UNESCO world heritage site at Sinta Village is 15 kilometres away and Lisbon city centre is 25 kilometres. Lisbon International Airport is 30 kilometres away with an approximate driving time of 30 minutes.
The hotel is renovating its salt water pool, clubhouse, and restaurant Cosi Fan Tutti until June 2010 (completion date subject to change).
