The entirety of this resort has recently been renovated to enhance its charm.
The guests rooms are all open-plan suites with large panoramic views and balconies with seating to enjoy the Southern Alps' clean, fresh, air. The suites have a combined sleeping area and generous living area. The balcony overlooks the river and the mountain landscape. The suites are furnished with a sofa, easy chair, desk, and mini-bar. Guests can enjoy the best of New Zealand's cuisine at The Birches, the resort's intimate and relaxed restaurant. Nugget Point is also convenient Milford sound, Doubtful Sound, water sports, snow skiing and other activities.
