Burgundian tradition meets refreshing modernism at the Eden Designhotel Maas tricht, the Netherland's first designer hotel and "Member of Design" Hotels world wide. As the seasons change, so does La Bergère's inner ambiance. Furnishings of greens and yellows are displayed in the spring and change to rust and ochre as winter approaches. Even the guestrooms change here. This beautiful hotel has 105 classy, furnished rooms from the 19th century and is situated in the historical center of Maastricht.
'Tranquility' is the underlying principle of the hotel's design. Guestrooms are comfortable, with plenty of light and creamy colors that contrast with playful chairs and artwork. This combination is surprisingly trendy and well done. The hotel works hard to be sure that the room fits the guest. The staff wants you to feel as though the hotel is a home away from home. Free Internet access is available in the library, and the hotel has its own gym which guests may also use free of charge. Flat-screen televisions and upgraded sound systems have been added to each room along with an updated interior design and colour programme.
