Location. Set amid 36 acres of tropical forests and Caribbean beach, the Mandarin Oriental Riviera Maya is located in Playa del Carmen, Mexico. The property is 11 kilometers from downtown Playa del Carmen. The resort offers catamaran boating, Coba Mayan ruins tours, private beaches and scuba diving excursions.
Hotel Features. The resort is set among mangrove reserves and intertwined with tranquil canals and lagoons. The property's highlight is its cenote, a freshwater reservoir sacred to ancient Mayans.
