Location. The Holiday Inn Kyoto is located in northeast Kyoto, Japan, four kilometers from the Kyoto Convention Hall and the Old Imperial Palace, and two kilometers from the city center.
Hotel Features. The hotel includes business services, meeting rooms, a variety of restaurants and complimentary shuttle service from the train station.
Holiday Inn Kyoto restaurants include Holiday, which serves buffet breakfasts; Sai Sai, which serves Chinese cuisine; and Uoko, which offers sushi. Gute offers breads and pasta dishes.
Business services include copy, fax and Internet services. The hotel includes two meeting rooms, with seating for up to 200 people. Wireless Internet access is complimentary in public areas.
Tennis courts are located 100 meters from the hotel, and a golf course is located 10 kilometers away.

Expert Tip. The Old Imperial Palace is located in Kyoto Gyoen, a large park that also includes the Sento Imperial Palace Gardens. Destroyed by fire and rebuilt a number of times, the most current incarnation was completed in 1855. The site includes several buildings of the period, ceremonial areas, homes, paintings, rare bamboos, gardens and ponds. Open to the public, several tours are offered daily.
