Location. The San Gallo hotel is located in Venice, Italy, 30 metres from St Mark's Square, and 200 metres from the Rialto Bridge. Venice's Santa Lucia railway station is three kilometres away.

Driving Directions - San Gallo
From Venice Airport (VCE):
Distance to San Gallo is 20 kilometres, approximately 20 minutes' drive.
Getting there. ATVO buses run every 30 minutes to Piazzale Roma in the city centre. The journey time is 20 minutes and single tickets cost 3 EUR. The ACTV number 5 bus also goes to Piazzale Roma and takes about 25 minutes. At Piazzale Roma, waterbuses (vaporetto) are available. Waterbus 82 runs to San Marco through Canal Grande, which takes about 30 minutes. Alight at Vallaresso stop (San Marco), and walk along Calle Vallaresso. At the end, turn right and enter St. Mark's Square. Walk under the arches on the left, and take the second on the left, Sottoportego Del Cavalletto. Cross the little bridge and San Gallo hotel is 50 metres on the right. A free bus service also links the airport terminal to the airport jetty; from here, regular Alilaguna boats leave for the city. Single tickets cost 10 EUR. Private water taxis are available, but are typically very expensive, about 90 EUR to the hotel. Prices are all subject to change.
Getting around. Venice is best explored on foot or by public water buses (vaporetto). Three-day passes for the public water bus cost 25 EUR and offer unlimited travel. Water taxis and gondolas are also available. Gondola ferries (traghetti) cross the Grand Canal and the fare is 50 cents. Drivers can leave their cars at Piazzale Roma or Tronchetto.
