Driving Directions - Hotel Ca Amadi - Guest House

From Venice Marco Polo Airport (VCE):
Distance to the Hotel Ca Amadi is 15 kilometres, approximately 15 minutes' drive.

Getting there.  ATVO buses run every 30 minutes to Piazzale Roma in the city centre. The journey time is 20 minutes and single tickets cost 3 EUR. The ACTV number 5 bus also goes to Piazzale Roma. The number 15 bus runs between the airport and Venice-Mestre train station. From Piazzale Roma, take the 1 or 82 vaporetto and alight at Rialto. From the landing jetty at Rialto, go to the nearby Campo San Bartolomeo and go along Salizada del Fontego towards SS Apostoli. Cross the bridge which goes over the Fontego dei Tedeschi and carry on for 20 metres until reaching San Giovanni Gristomo Church on the right. Turn right before the church and then right again into Calle Morosina for the hotel. A free bus service links the airport terminal to the airport jetty; from here, regular Alilaguna boats leave for the city. Single tickets cost 10 EUR. Private water taxis are available, but are typically very expensive. Prices are all subject to change.

Getting around.  Venice is best explored on foot or by public water buses (vaporetto). Three-day passes for the public water bus cost 25 EUR and offer unlimited travel. Water taxis and gondolas are also available. Gondola ferries (traghetti) cross the Grand Canal and the fare is 50 cents. Drivers can leave their cars at Piazzale Roma or Tronchetto.
