Getting there. SAIS Buses run from the airport directly to Taormina. Tickets are available from a booth in front of the terminal building, and must be validated when boarding. A Taxi cost around 80 EUR to the hotel. The hotel offers airport transfer at a surcharge. The price is subject to change.
Getting around. Taormina town centre can be explored by foot. A funicular runs between the center and Massaro bay. An inexpensive rail network links Sicily's larger towns, including Palermo, Messina, Catania, Taormina, and Syracuse. Buses run throughout the towns and many of the smaller villages. A car is recommended for exploring the less touristy areas.
