Location. President Hotel Splendid is located in Taormina, Italy, within 200 metres of the city's historic centre, the main pedestrianised street and Corso Umberto shopping area. The beaches of Mazzaro Isola Bella are three kilometres away. Giardini Naxos - Taormina station is four kilometres away.
Hotel Features. Set overlooking the bay of Letoianni and Calabria's coastline, this hotel was originally an ancient monastery and offers gardens and terraces. An outdoor pool is open during the summer amid a suspended garden overlooking the Ionic coast to Messina.

Expert Tip. The village of Castelmola is built on top of the hill overlooking Taormina, the sea and the whole surrounding area. Located five kilometres away, it takes about an hour to walk there or, alternatively, buses leave from Taormina. The village is known for its local almond wine.
