Distance to President Hotel Splendid is 60 kilometres, approximately 60 minutes' drive.
Getting there. A bus service runs to Taormina, four kilometres away. Tickets are available from a booth in front of the terminal building, and must be validated when boarding. The journey time is about 60 minutes. Taxis cost around 100 EUR directly to the hotel. Prices are all subject to change.
Getting around. An inexpensive rail network links Sicily's larger towns, including Palermo, Messina, Catania, Taormina, and Syracuse. Exploring Taormina and surrounding region by scooter is popular. Buses run throughout Taormina. A car is recommended for exploring the less touristy areas.
