The Garda Village is a modern holiday complex set over 16 hectares of land located on a peninsula on the southern bank of Lake Garda, only three kilometres from the historical centre of Sirmione. The village features modern bungalows and caravans, all of which include air conditioning, bidet, coffee/tea maker, kitchenettes, patios, private bathrooms and refrigerators. Bungalows also include satellite televisions, direct-dial phone, and select rooms include Internet connections.
The village features extensive leisure facilities including a football field and a pool park with three swimming pools, while a children's playground and kids club is on hand to keep the young ones entertained. Visitors can enjoy an Italian meal in the pizzeria restaurant, or a drink and a snack at one of two bars. Banquet facilities are available for celebrations, while a business centre is also to hand. A laundry service, Internet connection, a currency exchange and safety deposit box are also available. The activities team can organize excursions outside the village, including trips to the other lakeside towns; visits to the local wine producers and trips to the main cities around the lake, including Venice and Verona. While a little nearer to home lies the old town of Sirmione, (three kilometres) with its narrow streets and piazzas lined with shops, villas and cafes. Brescia Airport is approximately 30 minutes and 20 kilometres away.
