Getting there. An airport bus departs for Florence's Santa Maria Novella Station every 30 minutes taking approximately 20 minutes. Single tickets cost 6 EUR. From Santa Maria Novella, trains run to Siena's main station. However, from just to the right of the station's entrance, the SITA and TRA-IN bus companies also run frequent express services to Siena. Buses terminate at Via Tossa in the city centre in a journey time of 75 minutes. A taxi from the airport will cost approximately 140 EUR. All prices are subject to change.
Getting around. Siena is well served by buses operated by the TRA-IN company. A 10-journey pass costs 8 EUR and can be purchased at newsstands and tobacconists. All prices are subject to change.
