Built at the end of the 19th century, the Hotel Miramare Continental Palace is a grand whitewashed building, set in mature gardens in the Gulf of San Remo, 25 metres from the beach and one kilometre from the Old City. The 59 individually designed guestrooms have either modern or Liberty-style decor, and simple furnishings in bold colours. All offer direct-dial phones, satellite television, desks and minibars. Bathrooms have bidets, hair dryers and complimentary toiletries.

Nice International Airport is 55 kilometres distant (34 miles), a 60-minute drive.
