Getting around: Rome's transportation system (ATAC) integrates buses, trams, the Metro subway, and suburban trains. Tickets should be bought before boarding from ATAC machines or tobacconists (tabacchi). A ticket costs €1, is valid for 75 minutes, and covers unlimited bus trips and one Metro trip. The nearest Metro station (Spagna) is 400 metres from the hotel. Buses stop 50 metres from the hotel. The hotel provides complimentary bicycles, but the city centre is also easily negotiated on foot.
