The Arte Hotel is a modern seven-storey hotel featuring innovative interior design and artwork, located four kilometres from Perugia town centre and its various museums and cathedral. The hotel's 82 guestrooms have simple decor with white walls, large, modern wall prints and wooded furniture. All are equipped with satellite television, telephones and minibars. Bathrooms include bidets, hair dryers, and complimentary toiletries. 'Artist' rooms contain work by contemporary artists.
The hotel features high-concept displays of frescoes, paintings, sculpture and reliefs by contemporary artists in all public areas of the hotel. The restaurant is open at all meal times daily, and serves local specialities such as Pennette alla Norcina and Tagliatelle alla Perugina. Conferences and social functions can be catered for by the hotel, with the largest room able to accommodate up to 300 people. Audio- visual facilities are available for presentations. Guests in pursuit of health can make use of the hotel's fitness centre, which is equipped with a gym. Multilingual staff at the 24-hour front desk can assist with transport bookings, advise on local sights and attractions, and store valuables in the safety deposit box. Guests arriving by car will find free onsite parking facilities. The hotel regards itself as a museum of modern art in its own right, but visitors can also find museums such as the National Archaeological Museum of Umbria and the National Art Gallery, and the gothic architecture of Perugia's cathedral, sited within five kilometres of the hotel. For family day trips, Lake Trasimeno is two kilometres from the hotel and also has boating facilities. The Monti Sibillini national park is 127 kilometres from the hotel. Roma Fiumicino Airport is 200 kilometres (124 miles) from the hotel and can be reached by car in approximately two hours.
