Getting around. The city centre is easy to explore on foot, and there are pedestrianised areas around the Duomo. A comprehensive network of trams, buses, and four metro lines offers efficient travel throughout the city. There are many one-way streets, traffic is heavy, and parking is limited. Cars parked illegally are towed or fined.
