The easiest way to get around Venice is on foot or by vaporetto (public water bus). Three-day vaporetto passes offer unlimited travel and cost 25 EUR. Gondolas can be hired on the canals and water taxis traverse the city. Gondola ferries (traghetti) traverse the Grand Canal and cost .50 EUR per trip.
