Location. The Grand Hotel Hermitage and Villa Romita is located outside Sorrento, Italy, one kilometre from the village of Sant'Aguta sui due Golfi and six kilometres from the town centre. The Isle of Capri is 30 minutes by boat from hotel.
Hotel Features. Situated in ancient woodland overlooking the Gulf of Naples, the Grand Hotel Hermitage comprises a modern property and a converted 19th-century villa nestled among olive trees and orchards. The residence includes an outdoor pool with a separate children's pool. The Villa Romita houses a solarium. Other amenities include 24-hour room service and a concierge on hand to offer sightseeing advice.
The Grand Hotel Hermitage's Sala die Sogni restaurant features a marble floor and an informal atmosphere. Expert Tip. The Don Alfonso restaurant in Sant'Aguta sui due Golfi is renowned not just for its food, but for its wine cellar. One of the biggest in Europe, the cellar's tunnel extends into the tufa hillside and was built in Roman times. Visitors are invited to taste wine, olive oils, pasta, sauces, limoncello and much more.

From Naples Capodichino Airport (NAP):
Distance to Grand Hotel Hermitage is 60 kilometres, approximately one hour's drive.
Getting there. Buses run from the airport to Sorrento. A taxi from the airport to the hotel costs 120 EUR. The hotel can arrange for a private car on request (surcharge). Prices are all subject to change.
Getting around. Sorrento train station is within six kilometres of the hotel. The local village of Sant'Agata sui due Golfi can be reached on foot. The hotel runs a shuttle-bus service into the centre of Sorrento during high season. A car is recommended for travelling further afield. Driving directions. From the airport, take the A3 signposted Saleno-Reggio Calabria, in the direction of Penisola Sorrentina (brown sign).
Exit at Castellamare di Stabia, then follow directions to Sorrento.
