An early 19th century mock oriental villa built in tribute to a Genoese merchant's love for a Chinese girl, the Romantik Hotel Villa Pagoda opens to an interior characterised by original Carrara marble floors, Murano chandeliers, and antique furnishings. Serving a contemporary fusion of Ligurian and Italian culinary styles, signature dishes include Pansotti Pasta stuffed with Prawns, Crab Pulp and Fresh Tomato Sauce, and Boned Loin of Lamb aromatized with Mustard in a Pastafillo Pastry Crust, and piano entertainment is offered most evenings. Alternatively, food is offered at the Pagoda Bar, which opens on to the pool terrace.
