Getting there. Buses run between the airport and Verona train station (via the conference centre) every 20 minutes. The train station is 1.5 kilometres from the city centre and single tickets cost 4.50 EUR. Trains run every half an hour to Peschiera del Garda. The journey takes 20 minutes. From Peschiera a bus service connects to Garda. Alternatively, there is a direct bus from Verona to Garda. Taxis from Verona Airport to Sport Hotel Olimpo cost 60 EUR. The hotel offers airport transfer at a surcharge. Prices are subject to change.
Getting around. Garda is a small town and can easily be explored on foot. Ferries connect the major towns on the bank of the lake and are an enjoyable means of transport. Buses and trains are reliable and recommended for exploring further afield. For more isolated destinations or excursions into the mountains a car is necessary.
