The Hotel Atlantic Palace is a traditional, richly historic Florentine hotel housed in a 13th century monastery. Set in the city centre, next to San Lorenzo Market, and 200 metres from the Church of St Lawrence. The 68 spacious guestrooms have high, beamed ceilings and are sumptuously appointed in 18th century Florentine style. All rooms have marble bathrooms and include air conditioning, wireless Internet, satellite TV, safes, and minibars.

The airport is a short taxi ride from town (costing 13-16 EUR) although it is also possible to take the half-hourly bus, which transports passengers to Santa Maria Novella Station, in the centre of Florence.
