On the east side is an open-air swimming pool, while to the west is the park's amphitheatre, which hosts dance performances and concerts during the summer. Horse racing takes place not far from here at the Ippodromo delle Muline in Florence.

From Florence Vespucci Airport (FLR):
Distance to Garibaldi Relais and Charme is 1 kilometre, approximately five minutes' drive.
Getting there. The hotel operates a transport service to and from the airport at a cost of 15 EUR per half hour. Taxis into the city centre cost approximately 15 EUR, and the journey time is 15 minutes. An airport bus departs for Florence's Santa Maria Novella Station every 30 minutes. Single tickets cost 6 EUR. Trains run from there to Firenze Cascine train station, which is 200 metres from the hotel. Terravision coaches travel to central Florence and Pisa Airport. Tickets cost 12 EUR, and the price includes a one-day pass for Florence's city buses. Prices are all subject to change.
Getting around. The hotel operates a car service to central Florence at a cost of 15 EUR per half hour. Trains run from Firenze Cascine train station to central Florence. Florence is compact and easily explored on foot. There are traffic restrictions in the city centre, and parking is expensive. Bright orange buses operate throughout the city centre. Tickets are available at vending machines or from tobacconists. Tickets are sold based on length of time, and are available for one, two or 24 hours. There is a taxi rank in front of Santa Maria Novella Station.

Follow directions to Florence Centre.
Keep to the right, following signs towards Firenze via Pratese.
Take the A11/E76.
Take a right turn on Via Giovanni Piantanida.
Turn right again into Via del Palagio degli Spini.
Turn right again for Via Pratese.
