Location. The Argentiere Residence B&B is located in Florence, Italy, in Poggio Imperiale, 900 metres from the historic centre of the city. The Porta Romana is 900 metres away, and Florence's Santa Maria Novella Station is 2.5 kilometres distance.

Expert Tip. The Basilica di San Miniato al Monte is situated on a hill just outside the city. The basilica is a fine example of Romanesque architecture, but the most striking reason for the walk is the view over Florence itself.

From Florence Vespucci Airport (FLR):
Distance to Argentiere Residence is 7 kilometres, approximately 20 minutes' drive.
Getting there. Taxis into the city centre cost approximately 15 EUR-16 EUR, and the journey time is 20 minutes. An airport bus departs every 30 minutes Florence's Santa Maria Novella Station, which is then 2.5km from the hotel. Single tickets cost 6 EUR. Prices are all subject to change.
Getting around. Florence is compact and easily explored on foot. There are traffic restrictions in the city centre, and parking is expensive. Bright orange buses operate throughout the city centre. Tickets are available at vending machines or from tobacconists. Tickets are sold based on length of time, and are available for one, two or 24 hours. There is a taxi rank in front of Santa Maria Novella Station.
Driving directions. From Vespucci Airport, follow signs to Siena.
At Porta Romana, take the Via Senese and turn left at Via San Gaggio.
