Location. The chalet-style Hotel Mirage is located in the Dolomite mountains, of the Belluno region, Italy, one kilometre from the shops and bars of Cortina d'Ampezzo.
Hotel Features. A complimentary shuttle bus runs into the town of Cortina d'Ampezzo, and onsite there is a heated indoor pool with panoramic mountain views, as well as a sauna, spa tub, and fitness area, and in summer months guests can relax on the patio. There is also a children's playroom, and a club with special activities for the younger visitor.

Expert Tip. According to legend, the Dolomites were formed when mythological King Laurin, who was a dwarf, was rejected by his lady love and so cast a spell on his roses turning them into stony peaks. The mountains furnish excellent summer walking trails and winter ski slopes.

Driving Directions - Hotel Mirage
From Venice Marco Polo Airport (VCE):
Distance to Mirage Hotel is 160 kilometres, approximately two hours' drive.
Getting there. Taxis wait at the airport and typically cost 200 EUR to Mirage Hotel. The hotel can pre- book taxis for guests. A bus runs from the airport to Mestre train station. From here trains run to Calazo and then there is a bus connection to Cortina, which drops off outside Hotel Mirage. Prices are all subject to change.
Getting around. A complimentary shuttle bus service runs from the hotel into Cortina D'Ampezzo and to the Faloria cable railway. A car would be useful for exploring further afield.
Driving directions. From Venice Airport take the motorway towards Belluno.
At the end of motorway follow directions for Cortina.
Follow the mountain road.
On arriving in Cortina, you'll see a sign on the right-hand side for Mirage.
Follow the road up to the woods for the hotel.
