Getting there. Public buses depart from the airport for Perugia train station at 2.40 p.m., 5.50 p.m., and 9.50 p.m. Single tickets cost approximately 2.60 EUR. Taxis to the city centre cost about 40 EUR. From Perugia train station, trains connect to Citta di Castello. The hotel offers complimentary transfer between the local train station and the hotel. Getting around.Citta di Castello can be explored on foot. For excursions further into Umbria a car is the best option. Trips into Perugia should be undertaken by train. Public buses run throughout the city and suburbs of Perugia. Lifts and escalators provide easy access to the historic centre's upper levels. Trains link Perugia to Rome, Florence, and Ancona (via Foligno or Terontola).
