Hotel Features. Hotel la Palma is said to be the oldest hotel on Capri, an ornate, whitewashed building displaying classic Italian architecture. The hotel takes it name from the ancient palm tree that grows nearby, and the property is surrounded by verdant gardens. From Naples Airport (NAP):
Distance to Hotel La Palma is 25 kilometres, approximately 60 minutes' drive.
Getting there. Airport buses run to Naples train station, Piazza Municipio), and Sorrento. Taxis are available from the airport, and hydrofoils and ferries connect to the island of Capri from the port. The port is a few minutes from Piazza Umberto I by taxi or cable railway. The hotel is a short walk from there.
Getting around. The island can be explored on foot, by scooter, or by boat.
