Driving Directions - Hotel Sardegna
Getting there. Buses operated by ARST run from the airport into Piazza Matteotti in the city every 30 minutes, roughly in accordance with flight schedules. Fares cost 2 EUR one-way and the journey takes around 15 minutes. Tickets cannot be bought on the bus, but from the machine at the bus stop. Taxis are also available outside the terminal and fares to Sardegna Hotel cost around 14 EUR. The nearest but station to the hotel is three kilometres away. Cagliari can be easily explored on foot or by bus. All bus tickets must be purchased in advance (from a newspaper stand, or ticket booths near bus stops) and stamped inside the bus. A hire car is recommended for travelling further afield.
