Location. Antica Conceria is located in Capomulini, Italy, two kilometres from the village of Acitrezza and three kilometres from the train station in Acireale. Catania city centre is 12 kilometres away.
Hotel Features. Overlooking the sea, Antica Conceria is set in an 18th century tannery on the bay of Capomulini. The reception area sits below Baroque arches, decor in Mediterranean yellow and blue, and a large, antique chandelier. Snorkelling and swimming are available at the beach in front of the hotel, and boating and fishing excursions can be organised at the concierge desk.

Expert Tip. The village of Aci Castello is located three kilometres from the hotel. There is an imposing Norman Castle, which was built in the 11th century from volcanic rock from Mount Etna and sits right on the water.

From Catania Fontanorossa Airport (CTA):
Distance to Antica Conceria is 15 kilometres, approximately 15 minutes' drive.
Getting there. Buses depart from the airport for Capomulini. Tickets are available from a booth in front of the terminal building, and must be validated when boarding. Taxis cost around 40 EUR to Capomulini. Antica Conceria can organise airport transfers for a surcharge. Prices are all subject to change.
Getting around. Buses run throughout the towns and many of the smaller villages. An inexpensive rail network links Sicily's larger towns, including Palermo, Messina, Catania, Taormina, and Syracuse. A car is recommended for exploring areas off the beaten track.
Driving directions. From Catania Fontanorossa Airport.
Take Highway A18 toward Messina and exit at Acireale.
Head in the direction of Catania.
Capomulini will be on the left side, three kilometres after Acireale.
