Location. The Residence Seminyak is a city resort set in a field of soothing green rice paddies in Kuta, Indonesia, but literally next door to restaurants and nightlife. The resort also is 800 meters from Petitenget Beach and six kilometers from the airport.
Hotel Features. The focus of The Residence Seminyak is its villas. The resort provides complimentary in-villa full breakfasts and offers room service during limited hours. The resort also offers beauty and spa services, an outdoor pool, a library, a video library, a grocery store and barbecue grills for guest use. Complimentary wireless Internet access is available in public areas. Transportation within the sprawling resort is provided by golf carts winding through the rice paddies. Scooter rentals also are available. Dry cleaning service is available and a guest laundry is on site. Pets are not permitted in the resort.
Guestrooms. The resort's 27 villas open onto landscaped furnished patios with large private pools. Expert Tip. Kuta, at one time a quiet fishing village, was "discovered" decades ago, and is now a bustling community. It is now known as much for its nightlife and shopping as for its surf and sunsets. Markets and street vendors sell jewelry, handicrafts, wood carving, clothing and accessories. The community also includes sports bars, cabarets and an international selection of restaurants.
