Location. The Notos Therme and Spa is situated next to a black sand beach on the island of Santorini in Vlyhada, Greece, 12 kilometres from the capital city of Fira.
Hotel Features. Overlooking the marina, the boutique hotel combines contemporary and traditional Mediterranean design elements with a cool blue nautical theme. Amenities include a freshwater outdoor swimming pool with views of the Aegean Sea, and a sauna, spa tub, and steam room. Massage and beauty treatments such as Shiatsu, sea algae body wraps, and facials are offered at the spa. Concierge services are available at the 24- hour front desk where porters are on hand to assist with luggage.
A complimentary buffet breakfast is served each morning at the Notos Restaurant. Lunch and dinner menus feature a range of Mediterranean dishes. Drinks are served throughout the day at the poolside bar and room service is available around the clock.
Guestrooms. Spread over two floors, the 30 air-conditioned guestrooms have verandas and sea views. Decor is contemporary, with pale blues enhancing a nautical theme. Expert Tip. The cable car from the Old Port to Fira offers spectacular views of the Aegean and nearby islands. Many visitors still choose to make the uphill journey by mule, but the downhill ride is strictly for thrill seekers as the animals pick up speed on their way back to the harbour.
