The Anita is a modern hotel situated 300 metres from the port at Piraeus, and eight kilometres from Athens' centre, old town and Acropolis. The bars, cafes, restaurants and historical attractions of Athens are eight kilometres away. Athens Airport is approximately 40 kilometres and a 40-minute drive from the hotel.
Please note that no metro/underground service will be available from Athens Eleftherios Venizelos Airport from 14th February 2009 for approximately six months due to the construction of a new line. Guests arriving at the airport can reach central Athens by express buses which can be found outside the arrivals terminal. A taxi terminal can also be found outside arrivals. Please note that the tariff doubles between midnight and 6 a.m. and it is advised to ask your driver for a receipt upon reaching your destination.
