Location. The Grand Olympic Hotel is located in the seaside resort of Loutraki, Greece, 50 metres from Loutraki town centre and beach, five kilometres from the Corinth Canal and Ancient Fortress, and 10 kilometres from the Temple of Hera. Corinth train station is 15 kilometres away.
Hotel Features. The Grand Olympic Hotel is decorated in a simple, neo-classical style, with cream and brown tones.
The hotel offers a complimentary breakfast to all guests in the Olympus Restaurant, where Mediterranean dishes are also served for lunch and dinner. The Lobby Bar serves a range of hot and cold drinks, plus a selection of light snacks.
A conference room accommodating up to 150 people is available on site, and there is wireless Internet access throughout (surcharge).
Guestrooms. The 50 guestrooms all have wooden floors and oak furniture, are decorated in neutral colours and open onto small balconies. Amenities include satellite television, wireless Internet access (surcharge), minibars, and hair dryers.
Expert Tip. The famous mineral water of Loutraki runs in a fountain in the square just outside the hotel, and is bottled and sold throughout Greece.
Please note that no metro/underground service will be available from Athens Eleftherios Venizelos Airport from 14th February 2009 for approximately six months due to the construction of a new line. Guests arriving at the airport can reach central Athens by express buses which can be found outside the arrivals terminal. A taxi terminal can also be found outside arrivals. Please note that the tariff doubles between midnight and 6 a.m. and it is advised to ask your driver for a receipt upon reaching your destination.
